Studio One LP 2025 FLAC originally released in 1974. This reissue has a couple of bonus tracks and is a really nice pressing.

This album was meant to be released as a sampler for Bamboo (a label owned by Junior "Ashanti" Lincoln, who also ran Banana, Ackee and Ashanti imprints) in 1971. They had it in the final stage: fully mastered, stampers made and even the jackets printed. It never went to mass production because the company went bankrupt, out of business. Trojan Records eventually acquired the estate of the bankrupt company and they began releasing also the music with a couple of selected titles on Attack label (including re-issues of Freddie McKay and John Holt LPs).

Attack/Trojan Records then released this never before released sampler.

Of course this album was just an ordinary compilation by 1974 and didn't have any sampler status anymore. But the covers were ready made so why not take advantage of.

This album has the vocals on one channel and rhythm on the other channel.
