I Roy - Double Mix

Hi Kingstonians, here's a fine I Roy seventies compilation for you & yours to enjoy.

Lately I am less motivated than I used to be to maintain Kingston Roots blog, because what are the odds that a blog like this still exists next year? With the introduction of Digital ID later this year it would not even be accessible for a non-compliant citizen like me. Apart from the huge amount of (war) fear-mongering these days priority is to prepare for uncertain times of crisis (like being able to make a living as a musician).

In short collecting and sharing mp3 format rare reggae music makes less sense to me nowadays. Although I saw this coming fairly bright from afar, it's different when you're in the middle of it. Not saying that it is time to quit blogging by now and if so it would not be a big deal, but without a long-term perspective it makes me often think: "Why do I still do this?"

    1. Yes indeed, I'm not that aware of that in general. My motivation to keep up this blog is mainly out of community service. Glad to hear your appreciation!

    1. I'll do that if so. By the way the blog could need some more dub postings. They are somewhat underrepresented here because they are usually easy to get on the net.

Bless & One love from Holland!
