ReplyDeleteFantastic compilation, thanks a million...Revolution Version is a stone-cold classic and a new one on me
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure. The music was provided by brother Zoki Zokster. It took some effort to identify the tracks and some were titled on estimation. If one happens to have more information about them please let us know.
DeleteIn hindsight this compilation is called The Greenwich Farm Demos.
DeleteThanks! :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Especially the king tubby cuts.. Are last 6 tracks the recordings made by Jerry Stein for the word sound and power doco? Thanks for the upload
ReplyDeleteactually just sounds like the 'none shall escape' is the version recorded by Jerry Stein
ReplyDeletefrom Zoki: "I got that disc straight from Earl Zero, that is from (X), who told me that E Zero made a showcase album of his old singles, A side plus B side. And he gave me E Zero postal address so I sent him a letter with 10 $ included, in which I thanked him for all his reggae contribution. Later on, (X) mentioned to me that E Zero received that letter end was very pleased. So I think its a private E Zero production."
DeleteAll of the Earl Zero titles can be purchased directly from him and I would encourage it! http://www.earlzero.com/
